After traveling to 30 countries in the last two years, people always ask me, “what’s your favorite destination?” And truthfully, everytime I answer I pick a different country. Somedays I say South Africa while other days I pick Indonesia or Poland. It’s too hard to pick a favorite country! But it’s much easier to narrow my list of all- time best travel experiences.

So if you’re looking for some inspiration for your future trip, these were some of the most unforgettable memories.

My Best Travel Experiences

Sailing the Indonesia Islands with Star Clippers Sailing

Why I loved it so much: One of my first international experiences included a sailing trip around Indonesia with Star Clippers Sailing. Our days were spent exploring different islands and each night we would watch the sunset and star gaze from the boat.

The smaller ship size gave it a more intimate feel than a mega cruise ship and the itinerary was epic. This is easily one of my best travel experiences to date! I can’t say enough good things about this company.

African Safari at
Gondwana Game Reserve

Why I loved it so much: This luxury safari park exceeded my expectations from the moment we arrived and found our accommodation surrounded by dozens of zebras. The expert, friendly guides made each and every safari informative, fun and a thrilling adventure as we sped along the African plains.

Dog Sledding in Sweden

Why I loved it so much: Racing over a frozen lake in a winter wonderland is only made so much better by dozens of friendly huskies who can’t wait to lick, snuggle and love you! From the moment we arrived at the kennels, the dog’s excitement was palpable.

I don’t know who enjoyed the excursion more: us or the dogs! They were bouncing off the walls with anticipation while the mushers tried to harness and ready them for our trip. And they were all just so loveable! Top this off with the fact that northern Sweden is absolutely stunning in January and you have a travel experience that can’t be topped!

Van Life in Australia

Why I loved it so much: At first, I was nervous when my friends suggested we travel across Australia with no set itinerary. But once we picked up our JUCY campervan, my worries were quickly forgotten.

I loved being able to wake up each day at sunrise, google what national parks or landmarks were nearby and just head off in our van. Blasting road trip tunes and having a ball as we went, this laid back approach to traveling Australia was perfect.

Working As A Spring Break Host in Mexico Twice

Why I loved it so much: An entire month living at a resort in Mexico…what’s not to love?! This was also where I discovered how much I love mixing travel with work. By working jobs around the world, you get to vacation with a little more purpose. I was getting to have moments of great relaxation by the ocean but still feel like I was contributing to something. I was also living with coworkers which meant I had friends to explore and travel with as well.

Sunrise at the Taj Mahal

Why I loved it so much: Some things are just unforgettable. This morning was one of them. I’ll never forget eagerly standing in the dark at 4:30 am waiting outside the gates to enter the Taj Mahal for the first time. As the sun starting coming up and we entered into the mausoleum, my jaw dropped. There stood the Taj Mahal glittering in all its glory.

Road Trips on Route 66

Why I loved it so much: During my time working as a tour leader with Topdeck Travel, I did 4 month long road trips across America on Route 66. Plus 3 shorter road trips down a shorter portion of the infamous “Mother Road.” I have come to love Route 66 with a passion! It’s full of history, natural beauty, adventure and great stories.

The Holy Water Temple in Bali

Why I loved it so much: This experience for me was highly transformative. I remember feeling as if the entire world had faded away and there was nothing else but myself, the cleansing water and the Balinese ritual we had been taught. Over and over I dunked my head into the water. And in that moment, I felt such clarity about the kind of life I wanted to live and an intense connection to the present moment.

Living in Krakow, Poland for two months

Why I loved it so much: After bouncing around to so many countries in the past two years, I have found that slow travel is the best kind of travel. Getting to really know a new country is so different than doing a quick tour and day trip. While I was living in Krakow, I had my favorite coffee shops and bars. I made friends with locals and went out with them on the weekends. I had a favorite pierogi shop and took countless day trips from Krakow and really got to see Poland properly.

Taking the time to properly explore and live in this country gave me a deep appreciate for it. I tell people I miss Poland all the time! I probably wouldn’t have such a strong connection with it if I simply stay for 2 days and hit all the tourist hot spots. Slow travel really opens you up to transformative experiences and meaningful connections abroad.

Sailing the Nile River in Egypt

Why I loved it so much: As a young girl, I was always fascinated by the ancient Egyptians. In 5th grade, I even went as Cleopatra for Halloween. So to finally travel down the Nile and explore Egypt by boat felt like history coming to life! A totally one-of-a-kind experience, I am so thankful for our time in Egypt.

Backpacking Europe on a Budget

Why I loved it so much: If I’m being totally honest, I blew through most of my travel funds in expensive countries like Africa, Iceland and Israel. But no matter how little was in my bank account between travel jobs, I always had a BLAST backpacking around Europe on a budget. Whether I was couchsurfing in Paris, staying in a hostel with my best friend in Rome or volunteering in Germany I had just as much fun on these trips as I did during my more luxurious vacations.

And over time the more I traveled, the more friends I had in Europe. It finally came to a point of simply visiting and staying with friends while back in Europe. It felt like “easy” travel. Like coming home.

Small, Intimate Cruise Experience

Cruise ships sometimes get a bad wrap in the travel industry for being mass parties at sea that have little to do with culture or real “travel”. While I think there is no right or wrong way to travel (to each their own!!) and while I personally have loved cruising on large ships in the past, I have also really come to love the smaller more intimate cruise experience. Star Clippers Sailing often has a capacity of less than 200 people onboard. This allows the sailing ships to port at smaller islands or cities that a major cruise line simply would be unable to visit. We really got to connect and meet the other travelers on our ship as well. And by the end of our 9 days, we felt the crew really knew us.

A Year in Review: 2019

2019 was one wild adventure. I started out the year on my way to Iceland where I watched the sunrise from it’s famous geothermal pool, the Blue Lagoon. Continuing on to Sweden, we explored Stockholm and took a train far North to go dog sledding in Ottsjö. Then suitcase in tow, we arrived in Poland to work as pub crawl guides. This led to trips to Auschwitz, Warsaw and even into Slovakia! After experiencing the great nightlife in Krakow, and eating more than my fair share of Polish pierogi, it was time to leave Poland for the beaches of Mexico. One month working as a spring break host in Cabo San Lucas had me swimming with wild whale sharks, dancing on sunset cruises and feeding wild sea lions.

Spring brought me back to Poland before heading out to explore the Holy Lands. I traveled through Israel to float in the Dead Sea, wandered the streets of Jerusalem and crossed the border into Palestine to visit Bethlehem.

Continuing on, I made my way across Cyprus and wound up staying a week in Athens. Flying all the way across the world, I went back to the USA to interview for a position with Topdeck Travel and landed the job! I began training to lead road trips. My new job led me all over my own country to places I had never been before like Yosemite National Park & Monument Valley.

I officially joined Topdeck Travel as a tour leader in 2019!

Throughout the summer I continue to go abroad- I took a solo trip to Paris. Then flew to Croatia to explore several different islands and cities. After that, I was off to Bosnia & Herzegovina for the most eye opening trip of my life. I became engrossed with the country’s history of war and genocide. After leading a few more month long road trips across North America, I went to India with a group of girls before spending two weeks in Thailand. I flew home back through the Philippines to lead another Topdeck trip. Now I sit in New York City, about to ring in the New Year at a rooftop party near Times Square!

Best Travel Memories of 2019

Sunrise at the Taj Mahal

This surreal moment will stay locked in my memory forever. We woke long before sunrise to make our way across Agra to reach the Taj Mahal while it was still dark. Waiting in line on a dirt road surrounded by several lazy cows, we patiently waited for the gates to open to this incredible Wonder of the World. We slipped inside quickly, hustled past the first vantage point and got to have this spectacular view completely unobstructed by crowds. It was very humbling. (Although mere minutes later, the crowds descended!)

Dog Sledding in Ottsjö, Sweden

Beautiful pristine snow and dozens of lovable huskies racing you over a frozen lake- what’s not to love?! This trip felt like something out of a winter wonderland!

Riding ATV’s At Sunset On The Beach In Mexico

This epic shot makes me look like a pro ATV rider which couldn’t be further from the truth! I was easily the worst driver on our trip but it didn’t stop me from LOVING this sunset excursion in Mexico. Up hills, past wild donkeys, back down rocky cliff sides and finally- we ended on the beach right at sunset!

Tiger Safari in Ranthambhore National Park, India

After my trip to Africa in 2018, I was inspired to see animals in the wild every chance I could! No more zoos or animals in captivity, I wanted to supported wildlife programs that allowed you to ethically visit/see animals in their natural habitat. And Ranthambhore National Park is home to a number of tigers!

Feeding Wild Sea Lions in Mexico

While working in Mexico, I would often bring groups down to the pier for sunset cruises. There I befriended a local fisherman who would always toss a fish to sea lions that hung out near his boat. While I don’t think it’s best to approach wildlife typically, these sea lions are constantly coming up to YOU! They are playful and would hop right on the back of the boats looking for fish. This big sea lion was used to being fed by the fisherman and came right up out of the water to say hello

Living and working in Poland as a Pub Crawl Guide

As a traveler and social butterfly, this was the perfect way to spend a month! We had never visited Poland before accepting jobs to live and work in Krakow as a pub crawl guide. With housing provided and a job at night, I had my days free to explore with my best friend Morgan. My month in Poland was one of my happiest months of 2019. Krakow is now one of my favorite European cities!

Being caught in a rainstorm in Dubrovnik, Croatia

Our final day in Dubrovnik, we were supposed to go on a kayaking excursion. I was extremely disappointed when it was canceled due to bad weather. But instead, we got to watch a beautiful storm at sea! Standing outside as the warm rain came down, we watched the waves crash against a medieval fortress used in the filming of Game Of Thrones! It turned out to be a great day regardless!

Sunset from a mosque in Bosnia & Herzegovina

Mostar is now one of my favorite cities in the world! Truly a fairytale come to life. Just look at these views! If it weren’t for the city’s dark (and sadly recent past!) of war and genocide, you would think this idyllic town was as perfect as could be. Rich with history and culture, this wound up being one of my favorite trips of 2019.

Swimming With Wild Whale Sharks

Again, as an animal lover, I’m on a mission to see animals in the wild where they belong! So when I saw a company in Cabo San Lucas offered ethical encounters with wild whale sharks, I knew I couldn’t miss out!

This had been on my bucket list from the moment I dreamed of traveling the world! And in the spring of 2019, I traveled around Israel and finally made that dream a reality.

Visiting Bethlehem

While in Israel, we crossed the border into Palestine so we could visit the town of Bethlehem. With so much Biblical history, I was fascinated and humbled to visit a place I’d heard so much about. It felt as though we had traveled back in time, as we visited the sites so famous in Christianity.

Freediving in Thailand

As 2019 came to a close, I challenged my mind and body with a new skill: freediving. I have a new respect for freedivers because this sport is NOT easy! Equalising, relaxing and holding your breath while descending into the ocean without an air supply is as scary and awesome as it sounds!

19. Learn to Scuba Dive

The moment before you plunge into the ocean for the first time can be scary. The thought of being deep under water for 45 minutes definitely gives a lot of people butterflies. But like anything else, facing your fears is worth it.

The experience is rewarding, challenging and will leave you wanting to dive again!

2018 was the most epic year of my life.

17 countries, 3 continents and countless priceless memories.

Aside from my public victories, I had a lot of little private victories that were equally as important.

I started reading again, I stopped doubting myself, I stepped WAY out of my comfort zone (too many times to count!), and I developed a much stronger sense of self. I laughed, cried and loved with people from all walks of life and many different languages.

There were times my heart was so full from the beauty in this world, I thought it might burst. And there were times I was homesick and my friends (no matter how many thousands of miles away) were there for me in an instant.

But before fully turning my attention towards 2019, I want to pause and appreciate the wonderful, joyful things I was able to experience in 2018.

My Best Travel Memories of 2018

Flying a plane myself

You read that correctly. In 2018, I flew an actual plane. I sat in the front seat and I did most (well, some of!) the steering. I assisted in the take off and landing too, so that counts right?! What a rush. I’ll never forget the feeling of sitting in the front seat and taking off.

Someday I plan to keep working towards my private pilot’s licences but as of right now, I’m not in one place for long enough to finish the training.

But one day you’ll see me up in the sky flying a plane!

Praying in the Holy Water Temple in Bali

In my very own “Eat, Pray, Love” story, I found myself more spiritually connected and internally at peace in Bali than I thought possible.

And the peak of this internal connection, was the day we participated in a prayer ceremony at the Holy Water Temple.

We arrived on scooters with a local family we had stayed with the night before. Our new friend Putu brought us inside, helped us tie our sarongs and shared how his family had been praying at this water temple for generations. It was their tradition. And despite what religion you practiced, anyone was welcome to participate.

As Putu guided us through the opening prayers and offerings, I felt such a wonderful connection to the universe as a whole.

We went step by step and prayed at each of the water fountains, just as Putu had taught us.

After we dried off, our local friend Alit showed us a series of beautiful pictures he captured of this deeply moving moment on our journey.

I’m so thankful for these photos and the memories they hold.

Flying in a private jet

I truly never thought I would get to experience this fun (outlandish!) and VERY surreal opportunity.

But on my birthday, I was invited to attend some meetings and a dinner in Nebraska. We flew down in the afternoon and flew back that same night. The pilots served us cold drinks and there was even a mini red carpet leading up to the plane.

While this was insanely fun to experience once, I am typically crammed on a budget airline sitting in economy, ha!

What a special and unique memory though

Winning a free a sailing trip around Indonesia

It sounds too goo to be true, but I was the winner of a loop giveaway on Instagram. I had entered the contest a week prior and then forgot all about it, assuming I would never hear back.

But as it turned out, I won a free all-inclusive sailing trip around Indonesia for two with Star Clippers Sailing. I couldn’t believe it. What a dream come true!

Everyone was convinced it was a scam but nope! It was a very real. And one of my most memorable travel experiences of all time. Best of all? I got to bring my best friend on the trip with me for free.

We spent a magical two weeks exploring the islands of Indonesia, sleeping on board a gorgeous sailing ship and watching the stars every night.

Taking my first solo trip

After a lifetime of only dreaming about traveling abroad, I finally took my first international trip… solo. And it was epic. 

I traveled London, Scotland, Germany and Portugal by myself.

I saw shows on the West End, attended Scotland’s massive New Year’s Eve Festival in Edinburgh, volunteered teaching English with Diverbo, danced the night away with new friends at a club in London, couch surfed, drank local beer in Germany, got lost more times than I care to admit and had an absolutely wild, unforgettable time.

Going on my first African safari

My first African safari was everything I thought it would be and more! Spontaneous, adventurous, exciting and inspiring. We visited Gondwana Game Reserve in South Africa and stayed in a wonderfully luxurious villa. I made incredible friends, saw so many wild animals up close and am dying to go back to Africa now!

Working at Oktoberfest

German beer, endless fun, tons of new friends and memories to last a life time. We lived at a German campsite all 6 weeks while working for a travel company that provides accommodation and fun for travelers coming to the festival. It was quite the adventure!

Riding camels in the Sahara Desert to see the Pyramids of Egypt

Egypt has been my number one travel destination of all time. I’ve always been fascinated by the history.

The first time I tossed a coin in the Trevi Fountain, I wished that I would get to see the Pyramids of Egypt before 2018 was over.

Well I’m happy to say, I worked really hard to make my dream come true. When it seemed like I wasn’t going to be able to go, I switched things up and made a new plan.

I’ll never forget the moment I saw the Pyramids for the first time.

Swimming with penguins on a beach in South Africa

This was a dream come true for me! The penguins are everywhere and totally friendly. (Or at least, not scared of humans!)

They sunbath on the beach with you and are swimming around in the water beside you. This might be the most joyful place on earth!

Being swarmed by pigeons in Venice

Now I know a lot of people hate birds. They call pigeons the “rats of the sky.” But I find pigeons with their smokey gray coloring to be quite beautiful.

Well lucky me, because I was quickly surrounded by them one morning while taking a walk by myself through Piazza San Marco in Venice. A local Italian man captured these incredible photos of the experience.

Visiting Dachau Concentration Camp

My first time visiting a concentration camp was hauntingly heartbreaking.

I left the Oktoberfest campsite early one day to travel there by myself. I wound up making friends with a fellow traveler on the bus who was also heading to Dachau. We spent the entire day together and shared some incredibly personal conversations as we walked the path of Germany’s dark history together.

The grounds were quiet, still and oddly beautiful in the early fall air. The leaves were a vibrant color of orange and red as we walked the grounds where so many had lost their lives. Standing inside the gas chambers is a difficult emotion to explain. And an important part of our history to understand.

We parted ways late that afternoon. I have no idea where he is in the world today but I’m so thankful for the afternoon we shared.

Interacting with elephants

I’ve always loved elephants and been fascinated by their friendly, playful nature. I even have a tiny elephant tattoo on my ribs symbolizing my best friends. But never before had I gotten to feed, wash or generally interact with elephants. They are even more incredible up close

Scuba diving for the first time

I spent one of the happiest months of my life working for a spring break company in warm, sunny Mexico. I was housed at an all-inclusive resort and got to socialize with all the guests on a daily basis. As a social butterfly who loves to travel, this job was a dream come true!

We spent afternoons by the pool, evenings in downtown Cancun and I saw too many sunsets and sunrises on the ocean to count. Cabanas, swim up bars, island cruises, and scuba diving were all part of my daily life in Mexico.

Lush, beautiful rice terraces mixed with the feeling of flying. What could be better?
I returned to the rice terraces several times during my stay in Bali. (We had befriended a family that owned a little shop nearby that sold fresh coconuts!)

We even hitch hiked across Bali at 5am to watch the sunrise from this spot once.

A boat ride around the Amalfi Coast

I fell head over heels madly in love with the Amalfi Coast.

It’s scenic and quirky. Delightful and charming. And it doesn’t hurt that gelato (my favorite food) is so popular in Italy, it’s practically it’s own food group.

We stayed in a little coastal hotel with gorgeous rocky cliff and ocean views. If you wanted to go to the beach, you climbed several hundred teetering steps all the way down to the rocky shore.

10 Things Traveling Solo Has Taught Me

Many of the trips I take are with other people. I love exploring a new place with friends or family. Nothing brings me greater happiness than sharing in the joy of discovery with someone I love.

After all they say the quality of your close relationships is what determines the quality of your life. And nothing brings people closer than shared experiences.

When you are on the road experiencing new cultures and having exciting adventures, it’s inevitable you’ll get close to whoever you’re traveling with… but like many people who embark on a long trip around the world, sometimes I travel solo.

So who do I have to get close to then? Myself.

And I am so glad I did.

Here are the top 10 things traveling solo has taught me.

1. My likes and dislikes

As a chronic people pleaser who always wants everyone to be happy (maybe some of you can relate?) it was a bizarre and wonderful experience when I took my first solo trip to Europe.

For a brief period of time it was just me. There was no one else to look after. I woke up and did exactly what I wanted to do everyday. My itineraries were focused solely on what I like and how I wanted to travel.

It made me stop and think about the kind of travel I prefer. My likes and dislikes were more clearly defined and developed. My sense of self became stronger.

When no one else is calling the shots, what do you like doing just for you?

2. Confidence

Maybe you always get lost and laugh it off by saying “Oh I’m just terrible at directions” or “Oh I’m awful at figuring out public transportation.” I did that for years.

But when I found myself alone in the Middle East surrounded by only Arabic speakers and I needed to travel across several cities to catch a flight… I learned. I stopped making excuses and I managed to get there.

You stop saying “I can’t” and you just do it. One way or another, you figure it out and your self -confidence grows.

You learn to trust your own abilities.

I no longer reinforce the idea that I’m bad at something or claim that I’m unable to learn.

If millions of other people have figured out the metro station in Istanbul, then there is no reason I shouldn’t be able to figure it out too.

This new found confidence has spread into all areas of my life.

3. Being alone doesn’t have to be scary

It can do wonders for your self esteem when you realize you can look after yourself.

You can plan your own itineraries, make your own decisions and solve your own problems. Figuring things out on your own doesn’t have to be bad or scary. It can be rewarding and enlightening.

Consciously choosing to act bravely can be difficult at the start but soon it will become much easier.

Live bravely and courageously. We don’t need to fear being alone.

4. I enjoy my own company

I’ve always been a social butterfly and spent an obsessive amount of time with my friends. It wasn’t until I started traveling solo, I found that I enjoy my own company just as much.

Before traveling solo, the thought of going to dinner or a movie alone seemed weird to me. But now, I am comfortable (and even love) doing things like that from time to time!

5. If you’re bored, it’s your own fault

We live in a world of endless possibilities. Every day you could wake up and start a different project, read a different book or explore somewhere new.

If you’re claiming that there is nothing stimulating around, then you have become ungrateful. Time to practice a little gratitude

Take out a piece of paper and write down ten of your greatest blessings. Make a list of ten things you want to accomplish and get to work. There is no reason to ever squander our most valuable resource, our time, with the lame excuse of being bored.

Go find something amazing to do instead, you won’t regret it

6. You’re never actually alone

Whenever you travel solo you always wind up making friends. It’s inevitable.

People are fascinated when they see you traveling alone. They will want to hear your stories and get to know you.

You’ll be surprised how many kind souls will introduce themselves, help you when you’re lost, guide you around a new city or invite you to join in on their fun!

I’ve been invited to multiple weddings from new friends I met abroad, drank beer with strangers and gone on spontaneous dinner dates with people I only just met! I’ve spent entire days exploring with new friends and wound up totally changing my plans to continue traveling with them. You might start your journey solo but you won’t be alone for long.

7. Stay present

It’s easy when we are alone at a restaurant or an event to pull out our phones and mindlessly scroll social media. It feels safer than confidently sitting alone and leaving ourselves open to interactions.

But I urge you to stay fully engaged in the moment. Be observant. Notice things. Watch all the miracles of the world happening right before your eyes.

Happiness is in the present moment, in the “here and now.”

8. The media falsely makes us afraid of “others”

Especially in the States, the media makes you think everyone who isn’t like you is bad, scary or can’t be trusted.

We are told that traveling to other countries is unsafe. But these opinions are being formed by people who haven’t even traveled.

Ask someone who has actually been to Egypt if they felt safe. Most likely the answer is yes. After some initial culture shock, I loved my time alone in Egypt and definitely plan to return.

9. You can grant your own wishes

If you’ve always dreamed of going abroad, you can. Even if you don’t have a lot of money, there are ways! And even if your friends can’t get the time off work, you can go yourself. (And have just as much fun!)

There is no reason to sit around waiting for someone else to make your wishes a reality. There is absolutely a way and you are the only person you need to put the plans into action. Get to work!

10. Travel isn’t always pretty but it does change you for the better.

You might get lost (a lot) or sick abroad. Maybe you will feel homesick, sad or lonely sometimes.

But maybe, you’ll embark on a journey that changes you for the better, forces you to grow and develop as a person.

You will meet people from all walks of life, create lasting friendships, maybe even fall in love a few times.

Adventure awaits you if you’re brave enough to start.

Ever since I was little, I remember walking to the travel agency in my little hometown in Minnesota to get brochures about London to cut up and make wall posters in my bedroom. (The child’s version of a vision board, ha! How fitting that my first international and solo trip all those years later was to London…) When it came time to take trips for school, I remember obsessively making packing lists weeks in advance out of sheer excitement & anticipation.

So why was I suddenly 26 and had never left the country besides one family trip to Cancun? I had a myriad of excuses- Not enough money, a stable relationship at home, a beautiful apartment…. I found myself auditioning for theater shows that would allow me to travel but ultimately was sitting in my apartment with an empty passport and strong desire to explore.

What was I waiting for?

Finally one day, I stumbled across some travel bloggers online. Girls who had made a career out of traveling full time. Girls who had been to all 7 continents before they were 30. And it clicked. If I wanted to travel, I should do it now. Starting immediately. There would always be a million excuses and reasons to not make it a priority. And from that moment I was fully committed.

So I got out of my lease + my job and began to travel.

Non stop.

It’s a beautiful thing how once you get clear on what you want with a hellbent passion, the universe delivers so many opportunities you didn’t know were possible…

Just to be clear, I’m not rich. I don’t come from money. I just have a strong willed determination to see the world. To wake up in new countries, explore new cultures and meet people from all different walks of life.

So I got to hustlin’.

There was I sitting on my couch, a glass of wine in hand, looking at my bank account discouraged … I had just finished my first trip since my new found decision to travel- we road tripped across Arizona, Utah, Las Vegas, Oregon and Seattle. And I had no intention of stopping and staying home. I wasn’t about to let a little thing like insufficient funds stop my dream.

While I absolutely loved all my trips around America the first 6 months, I was really itching to go on an international solo trip. But more exotic destinations meant it would cost more money.. that I didn’t currently have saved. But I knew there had to be away around that….

Finding jobs that pay you travel turned out to be easier than I thought!

So I began researching how to travel for cheap, how to find jobs abroad, what type of jobs pay you travel… well it turns out the tourism industry is massive and if you want to work in the travel field, you might not make millions but your life will be rich beyond belief. In the last year I’ve worked a month in Mexico, a New Year’s Eve festival in Scotland, Oktoberfest in Germany, a charity trip to Greece, volunteered teaching English abroad in Germany, took two trips through Italy, spent a month in Indonesia and have upcoming job offers in Egypt, Poland and a return trip to Mexico.
