This upscale accommodation was built in 1884 at the height of the Minnesota logging boom.

Once a lumber baron mansion, it has been restored to a boutique literary-themed bed and breakfast.

From the moment I set foot on property, I was in love with this magical place. The decor, the attention to detail, the welcoming staff… It all felt so grand yet “homey” at the same time.

And you’re just a few blocks away from downtown Stillwater so after breakfast, you can walk into town to explore or shop.

Wandering the halls feels like traveling back in time

The property itself will delight and dazzle you with every new turn down the corridor. Each room, each nook, each cranny and each hallway is designed and decorated to absolute perfection.

Ask the wonderful and very knowledgeable property manager Larry for a tour! He is full of stories and incredible tidbits about each individual stained glass window, antique find or unique piece of furniture.
