Wanderlust Group Trips:
10 Reasons To Join A Trip

If you want to travel the world but don’t have someone to go with, I would love to be that person!

After years of working as a tour guide and freelance travel host around the world, I started my own personal business guiding trips. Now, I curate, host, lead and photograph each and every trip. (Yes that means I am personally on every single trip and I would love to meet you!)

Typically I run about 12 trips a year to destinations I am insanely passionate about like Tanzania, Iceland, Peru, Ireland, India and Croatia etc. But I’m constantly adding new destinations so with each passing year, we can experience new destinations together.

At this point, several hundred people have traveled with me on Wanderlust Group Trips and it’s been such an honor sharing my love of travel with you guys. So many of you have come back for multiple trips, even as many as 10+ trips with me!

You can read reviews from past trips here.

So without further ado, here’s 10 reasons to join a trip with
Wanderlust Group Trips!

1. Bucket list adventures

These trips aren’t your typical vacation.

Trips are adventurous and often outdoorsy. It’s the perfect way to tackle a more intimidating trip… with a supportive group!

On safari in Tanzania with a herd of elephants around us!

Want to summit the tallest free standing mountain in the world? Then join the Mount Kilimanjaro group trip.

If an African Safari or the Northern Lights in Iceland are something you want to experience at least once in this lifetime, then you’ve come to the right place!

2. Professional photos from your trip

Stay in the moment and enjoy the trip! I’ll personally be there photographing the trip for you. Furthermore, certain trips (like Morocco, Iceland & Ireland) have had an additional professional photographer shooting alongside with me.

Feel shy or uncomfortable in front of the camera? Don’t worry! I got you.

I’m happy to help coach you with poses or capture candid shots.

3. Give back to local communities

With my trips, I always aim to do good by the countries we visit.

For Egypt, a portion of the trip proceeds are donated to Brooke to help support suffering work horses and mules in the area.

In Peru, we partner with a locally owned tour operator who has a higher standard of working conditions for their porters on the Inca Trail.

And with India, we will be donating proceeds to Animal Aid Unlimited as well as supporting Sheroes’ Hangout Cafe which is run by female acid attack survivors in India.

A huge priority of our Cuba group trips is to bring much needed donations to areas experiencing extreme poverty.

We also stay in casa particulars (local homestays) so the money goes directly into the hands of locals instead of a corrupt government.

I’m constantly looking for way for the trips to have a positive impact on the places we visit.

My Guatemala trip partners with an amazing company that sponsors local schools in the area.

And if you ever have a suggestion for a charity or organization we should be supporting in a destination, I’d love to hear your suggestions!

4. Make like-minded travel friends

If your friends at home can’t or simply don’t travel, come on a Wanderlust Group Trip! In no time, you’ll have met your new travel besties.

Every day I log into Instagram to see past group trippers together all over the world traveling together again! People have met their bridesmaids on my trips and started serious relationships with people they met on a trip. It’s the best way to find your travel community!

Come solo, with a partner or with a friend.

5. Travel with someone you know and can trust

It can be intimidating booking a trip to a far away distant country by yourself but after years of hosting trips, I would love to be the experienced travel friend who happily shows you around!

With nearly all my trips, I have fully scouted the destination, traveled there previously and have great local contacts for our trip. With so many trips under my belt, I’m able to keep things running smoothly when a situation arises.

You can see for yourself by the great reviews people have left on my booking site!

6. Incredible memories for life

Whether we’re sailing the beautiful islands of Croatia, hiking the Grand Canyon or visiting temples in Japan, you’re sure to leave with memories that will last you a lifetime!

People have met on my trips & fallen in love. Others have met best friends for life. And we’ve even had two proposals: one in Ireland and one in Iceland!

8. Go off the beaten track

I’m always looking to add unique, one-of-kind experiences abroad.

While in Morocco, we visited a nomadic family and had tea with them while learning about their way of life.

In Mexico, we visited a tiny village where Dia De Los Muertos started to experience the holiday in the most authentic way possible.

In Peru, we had lunch in a tiny mountain village that typically receives no tourism.

Wanderlust Group Trips let you see the best tourist sites while still going off the beaten path!

9. Hassle free travel

I’ve planned every last detail so you don’t have to!

You’ll just need to book your flight to whatever destination we are traveling together.

And once you arrive, it’s all handled! The transportation, your hotels, all the tours… everything! If you love travel but hate planning, this will make your experience a breeze.

10. Get my top recommendations

Since I am personally on each and every trip, I am there to ensure only the best of activities, restaurants and recommendations in countries I’ve already traveled.

I will personally share my favorite rooftop bars, best photo spots and local connections you can’t get elsewhere!
